Wedding Day preparation instructions and how to prepare the workspace for your Makeup Artist.

    Wash your hair the night before.

    Make sure your hair is completely dry before sleeping.

    Avoid hair oil, leave-in conditioner, styling cream, hair serum or other heavy hair products, as these can affect how well curls and hairstyles hold.

    There is no need to apply skincare before your appointment. Your Makeup Artist will apply the necessary skincare for you.

    Put on your contact lenses before makeup begins.

  6. 06

    Hang up your bridal veil beforehand to help prevent creases.

  7. 07

    Wear a robe, button-down shirt, zip-front top or other clothing that can be removed without going over your head.

  8. 08

    Keep the preparation room cool where possible, especially in Singapore’s warm and humid weather.

Workspace for Your Makeup Artist

  1. 09

    Have sufficient table space available for your Makeup Artist’s tools and products.

  2. 10

    Have a chair available if required by your Makeup Artist.

  3. 11

    Good lighting is essential, preferably natural daylight where available.

  4. 12

    Provide access to an electrical power point for hairstyling tools.

  5. 13

    Minimise unnecessary interruptions during the scheduled preparation time.
